Meet Chris

Professor, Father, Everyday North Carolinian.

Chris Schulte is a Community College Professor in Psychology, having received his B.S. in Psychology from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and an M.S. in Psychology from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. He has thousands of supervised hours as a counselor and is an advocate for mental health in our country. As an educator, Chris brings the critical thinking skills and science-based facts that are necessary for an effective leader.


Chris is married to Shelley Freeman, a mental health counselor and Jacksonville, NC native. They live with their two children, Evander and Amelia, in Richlands, NC.
